Terms of use

These terms apply when you use the Moodwindow apps or this website. Moodwindow is provided by PolarCurve LLC (“we”, “us”). By using Moodwindow you agree to these terms. If you got Moodwindow from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

What Moodwindow is

Moodwindow plays ambient video scenes with sound generated on your device, with a sound mixer, routines and a sleep timer. We may add, change or retire scenes and features over time. Streaming needs an internet connection, and we cannot promise the service will always be available or free of interruptions.

Free and Premium

• Some scenes and features are free. Premium unlocks every scene and routine, and 4K playback on screens that support it.
• Premium is sold as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase, through Google Play, the Amazon Appstore or Apple’s App Store. The store takes the payment and its terms govern billing, renewals, cancellation and refunds.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel them in your store account. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge; Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
• Lifetime is a single payment with no renewals. It keeps Premium unlocked for as long as we offer Moodwindow on that store.
• Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change. A price change for an existing subscription follows the store’s rules, including any notice or consent it requires.
• You can restore Premium on another device signed in to the same store account, using “Restore purchases” in the app.

What you may do with it

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Moodwindow and its scenes on your own devices. You may also show Moodwindow on screens in a place you run, such as a waiting room, spa, hotel or office. You may not copy, record, resell or redistribute the scenes or the sound, use them in videos, streams or broadcasts, or try to extract them from the app.

Scenes and AI

Scenes are created with the help of AI. They show imagined places, not real locations or live views.

Use it comfortably

Moodwindow is for relaxation and atmosphere. It is not a medical device and is not meant to diagnose or treat sleep problems or any other condition. Keep the volume at a comfortable level. Some scenes show flickering light, such as fire and candles; if you are sensitive to flickering or flashing light, take care or avoid those scenes.

Our responsibility

Moodwindow is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties that are not set out in these terms, and our total liability to you for any claim about Moodwindow is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you on this page or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Moodwindow after that means you accept the new terms.
